Just yesterday Snapchat, a social media giant that already has 150 million daily active users, announced the launch of its new feature called “Memories”. Memories will make empower users to access their snaps in a more categorised and user friendly way which for some people will replace their existing photo albums.
This also creates a new playground for brands to curate more of their content and save it for the later use, whilst for Snapchat this is an opportunity to capture more data about the user and offer better targeting we all desire.
So if your audience is 18 – 24 year olds, don’t forget to update your Snapchat app and adjust your marketing strategy.
