We're looking for a CRM & Automation Specialist to join our dynamic, growing team in Birmingham
The Opportunity
New opportunity to help build and grow our CRM and Automation division.
Currently Catalyst is a Diamond HubSpot partner. Helping clients to onboard HubSpot and implement ongoing sales and marketing processes and campaigns.
We have experienced significant growth in this division over the last few years and are looking to expand into other CRMs to drive the offering forward.
A great opportunity for a client facing, sales focused marketing professional to make the role their own and build the department and team.
Role overview
The role is a hybrid of skills:
- Working with our internal marketing team to create marketing strategies that generate qualified leads for CRM and Automation
- Engage and nurture leads to the point of sale including being involved in the proposal, pricing and pitching process
- Onboard new clients onto HubSpot (or similar CRM) using past CRM experience
- Using past marketing experience to go beyond the features of the CRM and make recommendations on how it can integrate with their sales and marketing campaigns and processes
- Upsell clients to other Catalyst services
Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a proven background in software sales
- Have previous knowledge of CRMs, features, functions etc (preference would be HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce)
- Have a solid understanding of the role marketing plays and the different channels and tactics
- Be ambitious and can work off their own initiative to generate leads and nurture them through the pipeline

The ideal candidate would have:
- 3+ years experience working in an agency environment
- A proven track record of helping to run successful B2B marketing strategies & campaigns across a wide range of sectors
- Experience working with SME clients and owner managers
- A natural commercial outlook and approach to marketing
- Knowledge of the entire marketing mix including; Inbound marketing and HubSpot (a big bonus!)
- Ability to deliver marketing strategies that focus on delivering tangible value/ROI
- Strong presentation and client management skills
Responsibilities would include:
- Reporting directly to the Account Director and Strategy Director
- Implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns
- Understanding client’s goals and helping the senior team to create an integrated marketing strategy that focuses on meeting them
- Presenting research and marketing strategies to prospects and clients
- Campaign reporting and working with the senior to to analyse and optimise
- Overseeing Marketing Executives
