The ideal candidate will have a strength in digital design, particularly websites, but have the ability to work on offline design projects as and when needed.
For this specific position we are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years experience however, we are still interested in hearing from those with less experience to help from time to time when workload permits.
Ideally, their expertise will go beyond look and feel and they will be able to lead the process when it comes to user experience and wire framing.
The candidate should be comfortable using their own initiative and confident enough to challenge creative briefs to ensure the end product is the best it can be.
Responsibilities and required skills
Your typical responsibilities as a graphic designer include:
- Create design concepts for various different media. This could be anything from new logos and infographics to web pages and social banners.
- Fluency in Adobe software (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
- A good eye for typography and detail
- Solid understanding of preparing artwork for print
- Able to work across multiple projects at any given time
- Confident enough to present justifications for design work, open-minded enough to listen to feedback when and where necessary
